Real Estate
in Asbury Park over the years has had its share of ups and down. Even
though Asbury Park is blessed with one mile of oceanfront property,
the city and boardwalk has struggled to regain it's former glory and
once again become the "Jewel of the Jersey Shore". However,
Asbury Park and Real Estate in Asbury Park has come back strong. Of
course, like the rest of the country, 2008 saw a decrease in asking
prices and slower sales.
The Asbury
Park Boardwalk is again alive with all new shops and restaurants.
The Paramount
Theatre and Convention Hall now host many shows and events
throughout the year. Downtown
Asbury Park is complete with new restaurants and shops. The former
Steinbach Department Store has fianly been renovated with 63
apartments and ground floor retail. April 2009 comes with a "no
vacancy" sign. New condo developments in and around the downtown
are avaliable for sale or lease. These include THE BLU, The Mercury,
The Mattison and The Griffin as example. The
City has adopted a Springwood Avenue Redevelopment Plan to bring back
the commercial and residential center of the Wet Side and are hard at
work on a Main Street Plan. They are already beginning to receive
funding to this time, make it a reality. Give
my office a call at 732-517-0088 or my cell at 732-539-2914 and I will
discuss residential and commercial properties in and around the Asbury
Park area.
